That's what Design Surgery is. A focused, one-to-one design consultation where we work through your specific problem and leave you with a clear, written plan of action. No vague suggestions. Just practical, considered advice from an experienced interior designer who'll tell you exactly what the space needs and how to get there.

What a Design Surgery is for

Most people book a Design Surgery because something in their home isn't working and they can't quite put their finger on why. It might be a room that looks fine on paper but never feels right. Furniture that doesn't sit well together. A layout that's awkward to live in. A renovation that's stalled because the decisions feel overwhelming.

Common reasons clients book include:

  • A living room or bedroom that looks cluttered no matter how much you tidy

  • Furniture you love but can't make work in the space

  • A colour scheme that felt right in the shop and wrong on the walls

  • A new build or renovation where you want a designer's eye before you commit to anything

  • A room that's nearly there - and needs one clear decision to pull it together

What you get

Before your session, you'll receive a short questionnaire so I can prepare properly. During the consultation - up to 90 minutes for one room, up to 4.5 hours for two to three - we work through your space together, in real time. I'll ask the right questions, look at what's there, and give you honest, specific direction.

Afterwards, you receive a written summary of everything we agreed. So you leave with a document you can actually act on, not just a conversation you're trying to remember.

Who this is for

Design Surgery suits homeowners who want expert input without committing to a full design project. It's also a practical starting point if you're not sure whether you need a bigger service - it's a good way to find out.

DESIGN SURGERY:
Whole house, up to 8 hours, this can be done over two sessions: £1,095

AFTERCARE CALL:
Video call, 45 minutes: £95
Sometimes you may have follow-up questions once you've started implementing your plan. Our Aftercare Call is a 45-minute video call, booked any time from four to six weeks after your Surgery, to check how things are going and answer any questions.
