CLUTTERED KITCHEN - STAGED2SELL

BEFORE

 

This attractive dining kitchen in a house in North Yorkshire was impossible to appreciate because it was cluttered and generally untidy. Every surface, both horizontal and vertical, was strewn with personal memorabilia. The table and chairs were heaped with papers and clothes. The sink area was rather tired, filled with dirty dishes and littered with groceries and cleaning fluids.

The Kitchen is the heart of the home; its condition can make or break a sale.
AFTER

We cleared away all personal clutter and arranged for the whole kitchen to be cleaned from top to bottom. When selling a house the kitchen should sparkle!

Everything not used on a daily basis was stored away. The table was reset with a bowl of fruit and place settings. The plants outside the window were pruned to allow in as much light as possible. Finally, the pictures and ornaments were thinned down and replaced with a couple of coordinated fruit paintings. Towels were chosen to add terracotta accents. The kitchen had been rediscovered!
